Chapel Service – 5:00 p.m.
A guest preacher leads our chapel service at 5:00 p.m. There, we spend time singing and hearing about God’s love.

Community Meal – 5:30 p.m.
You and 180 of your new friends from the neighborhood will have time to catch up with what is going on in their lives, over a great meal, of course.

Community Choice Market – 5:30 p.m.
We have transformed our food pantry into community choice.  Our neighbors, with the help of personal shoppers, now "shop" for the grocery items that will take home to help them make it through the week.   It takes more people to make the market work.  Come help us and give dignity, choice and joy to our friends in Cedar Grove.  Join the fun and the joy!

Clothes Closet- 5:30 p.m.
Our friends in Cedar Grove get to "shop" in other clothes closet.

Tuesday Community Men’s  And Women's Fellowship Group - Tuesday 6:30-7:30 p.m.
The community meets to share, discuss, read scripture and community with one another. We learn much from each other.  Come join us!

Youth Program
Over 30 middle and high school aged boys come to our campus several days a week to participate in educational and enrichment activities.  While basketball is the "hook,"  we help with homework, mentor these young people, having Bible study and eating together. We need tutors and people  willing to hang out with our boys.  It will be life-changing for you too!

After School Reading Program
We are partnering with Atkins Technology Elementary School to provide after school tutoring to second and third graders focusing on improving their reading skills.
We are tutoring on Mondays and Wednesdays afternoons from 3:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  We need committed tutors and substitutes to spend time with the children of Cedar Grove to help strengthen their reading skills. If you are interested in making a difference in the lives of our children, please contact Allison Valcho at 318-286-4386.

Summer Day Camp
During the summer months, Common Ground has a summer day camp with educational and spiritual activities.    Last year, 36 children from the community joined us for fun, art, crafts, games and field trips.
